Business Development/ Customer Success - Germany

FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME (32 to 40 hours per week) · AMSTERDAM

In this role, you will be the voice of Deskbookers towards our German clients and partners. When someone needs help using our platform or finding the right venue, you’re the one showing them the way. For our larger clients, you will nurture the relationship using your account management skills. What you'll be doing:

  • Play an important role in ensuring an excellent customer experience for our clients and venue partners
  • Building and maintaining close working relationships with clients

  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales

  • Handle complaints while providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution
  • Constantly switch between different channels (email, phone, chat) finding the best way to help our customers
  • Identify upsell opportunities and advise our clients accordingly
  • Bring in new ideas to improve our way of working and reach a higher customer satisfaction
  • Consistently keep our customer support tool Zendesk up-to-date (tickets)
  • On a weekly basis, update our department through reports
  • Work independently and set your own priorities for the day and the week
  • Work closely with other departments (finance, sales, marketing)

Experience and skills you'll bring to the team:

  • Professional working proficiency in German and English
  • Communication is one of your biggest strengths (written and spoken)
  • You love helping clients while having a commercial mindset
  • Stressful situations don’t get you nervous and your friends and colleagues like you for your positive mindset
  • You can easily switch between different tasks
  • A bit of chaos doesn’t get you off the track
  • You hold an ‘Ausbildung’ / FH degree
  • You have minimum 1 year work experience in a client-facing position, either sales or customer service
  • You are super organised and efficient in your work
